and there you have it

well, the democrats have taken over the senate and the house. i think that's mostly a result of frustration with the republicans than confidence in the democrats. i can understand the frustration with the republicans. they haven't done the best job. the question is, what are the democrats going to do about it? none of us have any idea because the democrats platform was "the republicans suck - i'm not republican". they criticized everything and offered no solutions. now that they can't point fingers it'll be interesting to see what they actually do. the only thing we know they're going to push through is a raised minimum wage. all it takes is an intro economics course to know that that's bad for the economy. so with nowhere to place blame but at themselves going forward, i wonder how they're going to do being in charge. something tells me that america's given them a chance, they'll let america down, and we'll be back to republican control in '08. the republican candidate for president should be celebrating this election. it's going to do wonders for his campaign.
