labor day

or the absence of really. i'm enjoying my first paid holiday off ever. the first of the many, many i'll receive every year. i'm guranteed 10 bank holidays a year, plus the 15 days of vacation i get each year. yeah, that's right. if you do the math, that's five full weeks of vacation each year. and that's the starting rate. i plan on doing nothing today. laying around, playing some frisbee this evening, and then watching the fsu/ miami game tonight. that's always a tough one, because i hate them both. the hate for fsu runs a little deeper though so i'm hoping for another wide right moment. back to real football though, the gators had a fine showing on saturday. we started slow but ended with a bang. dallas baker had 9 catches for 123 yards and tony joiner had 5 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 pass break up. they're both former students of mine. from my view from the 15 yard line, 27 rows up i was able to capture tim tebow's first collegiate touchdown on video. you can watch it here. i also got a good picture of the ol' ball coach, as seen above.
