GAME DAY

it's here. the first game of the year. florida versus southern miss. at 6 pm. i'll be heading over to the campus soon to do a little tailgating hopping and just enjoy the spectacle that is florida football. it's going to be an interesting year. we're loaded with talent and also the toughest schedule in the land. there's a lot to be excited about though. it's the 100th anniversary of florida football and also the tenth anniversary of the national championship. the 96 championship team is going to be honored at the game today. even the ol ball coach is going to be there. i'm excited about the first game. watching them run out of the tunnel with the video of the gators on the scoreboards (the best intro in college football according to lee corso). watching Mr. Two Bits come out and lead the crowd in a cheer. grabbing your neighbors and swaying and singing "We are the boys from old Florida" at the end of the third quarter. singing the alma mater after the win. it's all glorious. you just don't know what you're missing.
